Producing Brand and Corporate Content Across a Family of Logistics and Services Brands

The Suddath Companies

Overview

Suddath is a large, multi-brand organization providing residential, commercial, and logistics services through a network of sister and parent companies. Over a multi-year relationship, I supported creative production across Suddath and several affiliated brands, including NXT Point Logistics, MoveDay, Phase Integration and Perdue.

The work focused primarily on brand and corporate storytelling, requiring consistency across brands while adapting creative approaches to very different audiences, environments, and services.

My Role

I served as a director and creative production lead across projects for the Suddath brand family, acting as the primary point of contact for creative execution.

Primary responsibilities included:

  • Directing live-action shoots across multiple brands and environments

  • Serving as the client-facing creative partner throughout planning and execution

  • Pitching creative approaches and shaping project scope

  • Hiring and coordinating crews based on project needs

  • Managing schedules and production logistics

  • Overseeing post-production from edit through final delivery

The work required balancing efficiency, clarity, and production quality across a long-term client relationship.

Type of Work

Across Suddath and its related brands, creative production included:

  • Brand and corporate explainer videos

  • Case-study style content featuring Suddath clients

  • Social media advertising and supporting digital assets

  • Operator spotlight videos highlighting van operators and frontline workers, created in partnership with United Van Lines

Each project was designed to humanize complex services while clearly communicating the scale and scope of the organization.

Production Environments & Execution

Production took place across a wide range of real-world environments, including:

  • Corporate offices and leadership interview settings

  • Warehouses and logistics facilities

  • Residential moves and commercial business locations

Shoots often combined leadership interviews with observational footage of teams working in active environments, requiring flexibility, coordination, and attention to safety and operations.

Scale & Working Relationship

  • Ongoing client relationship spanning approximately six years

  • Consistent production work across multiple brands and service lines

  • Small, efficient crews scaled to fit environment and scope

  • Projects executed as one-off videos as well as repeatable formats over time

The longevity of the relationship allowed for deeper understanding of the organization and more efficient production planning over time.

What Made This Work Unique

Working across the Suddath family of brands provided a unique view into how a large group of sister and parent companies operate together to deliver complex moving and logistics services for both residential and commercial clients.

The work required adapting creative tone and storytelling to different audiences while maintaining consistency and trust across the broader organization.
